However, a recent report noted the Phillies have “moved on” from a potential Machado trade because Baltimore’s asking price is too high.Britton could be a useful arm in the back of the bullpen for anyone, although some teams might be worriedabout his health.The 30-year-old left hander underwent surgery in December to repair a rupturedAchilles. He returned to the roster in mid-June, and has one save and a 5.06 ERA in 11 appearances.But Brittonlogged 135saves between 2014-2017 as the Orioles’ closer.
